A commemoration were held near central Budapest\u2019s Margit Bridge on Friday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

They paid tribute to the Hungarian crew of the Hable\u00e1ny sightseeing boat which capsized and sank in the river on May 29.<\/p>\n

The vessel was carrying 33 South Korean tourists and a crew of two Hungarians when it collided with a large cruise ship. Seven tourists were rescued from the River Danube but all others died in the collision.<\/p>\n

The ceremony was held simultaneously on several ships, started at 11am today.<\/p>\n

The urn containing the ashes of the sailor of the sunken boat is placed from a ship into Danube by a ship\u2019s captain during the funeral ceremony of the two Hungarian victims.<\/p>\n

The remains of the captain of the boat will be buried on the land later.<\/p>\n

Participants joined the commemoration on the Pest side of the river south of Margit bridge.<\/p>\n
