{"id":15835,"date":"2015-04-10T12:50:03","date_gmt":"2015-04-10T16:50:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bocskairadio.org\/?p=15835"},"modified":"2015-04-10T12:54:58","modified_gmt":"2015-04-10T16:54:58","slug":"hungarian-museum-grand-reopening","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bocskairadio.org\/en\/hungarian-museum-grand-reopening\/","title":{"rendered":"Hungarian Museum Grand Reopening"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This Saturday April 11, 2015 The Cleveland Hungarian Museum will hold the Grand Opening of its new location on the 1st floor of the Galleria at Erieview in Downtown Cleveland from 3-5 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 3:00 p.m. will be followed by a Champagne Reception and greetings by Dignitaries.<\/p>\n<p>This also marks the opening of its new Exhibit &#8211; The End of the Cold War, Fall of Communism in Hungary and Eastern Europe which will be of interest to many of Greater Cleveland&#8217;s ethnic communities.<\/p>\n<p>The Exhibit includes the period after World War II through the 1989 Peaceful Demonstrations to the Dissolution of the Soviet Union and incorporates the CBS Special on the 1956 Hungarian Revolution as well as segments of the CNN documentary series COLD WAR.<\/p>\n<p>The event is free and open to the public. Parking is available in the Galleria Garage.<\/p>\n<p>The Cleveland Hungarian Heritage Society\u2019s mission is to preserve Hungarian culture and the history of Hungarians in Northeast Ohio, so that present and future generations can draw upon its collection for education, inspiration and enrichment.
