Bárki jeletkezhet rá az USA-ból vagy akár az egész világból, életkortól függetlenül, nem kell hozzá diáknak lenni sem:
Registration is now open for the online course Beginning Hungarian II, offered by Cleveland State University in Spring 2022. (Hungarian I is available each fall semester.) The courses are open to all worldwide; perfect for that relative or friend who wants to learn Hungarian!
These online courses are remote and asynchronous; there are no set class meeting times, and you can complete the assignments at your own pace. Should you need help with your coursework, you are welcome to schedule individual time with the instructor. For the entire group, the instructor will offer one zoom session per month during the semester. All course material is provided on Blackboard (the online course platform), and this will be complemented by weekly Cultural Notes. As continuing education courses, these carry 5.5 CEU credits but not academic credit.
Taking Hungarian II is a good way of building on some basics you may already have (vowel harmony, basic verb conjugation, pronouns, numbers, basic vocab and conversational blocks etc.). Practical topics in the chapters include shopping, restaurant, or cooking. (Having taken Hungarian I at CSU in order to enroll in Hungarian II is not a formal requirement.)
Spring classes will run from January 24 to May 20, 2022. Course cost is $325.
